4 dead in shooting: Killer leaves four dead, then commits suicide in California

In top news this week, “4 dead in shooting spree” has become a trending term on search engines today after Fox News reported this Tuesday, Feb. 19, that a shooting spree in Orange County, Calif., has left four people dead and two people injured, before the killer committed suicide in a stolen car, says the report.

The shooting spree started this Tuesday morning after local policemen responded to a carjacking. Officials found a female shot dead in her house.

The shooter was reported to have two long guns, and was described to be a man in his mid 20s. He fled the scene in an SUV after the shooting, added a source.

Three more innocent citizens were also shot and killed in less than a half hour, in addition to two people severely injured.

“There are several crime scenes in Tustin and the areas,” said Lt. Paul Garaven in a statement. “There were a total of six shootings.”

After being cornered in a stolen car — having stolen a car at each various locations — the shooter who left “4 dead in shooting spree,” says the report, turned the gun on himself and killed himself before capture.

For now, there is no known reason or motive behind the murders. Our hearts go out to the victims and their families.
