The “Screwie Louie’s Original Scene” concerts are part of the AMPD concert series' which showcase original bands and artists in the Tampa Bay area, in the hopes of raising awareness and excitement of original local music. The events are held monthly at the Porpoise Pub, and sometimes feature a different theme.

This Sunday's event will feature live music performances from 4 different original acts on 2 separate stages. Bands and artists that will be performing at the event include The Jerry LeBloch Band, UMC2, Autumn June, and Buddy King of Buddy King's Shotgun Junkies.

The Jerry LeBloch Band was formed just this year by former Rare Earth drummer and Michigan Rock and Motown Records Hall of Fame inductee, Jerry LeBloch. The band consist of Tim Conwell (bass/vocals), Tommy "Gunn" Vieira (guitar/vocals) and Jerry LeBloch (drums/vocals). Following a year long battle with Stage-4 colon cancer, LeBloch had only recently made his return to performing live on stage last month. Sunday's show will be a homecoming of sorts for LeBloch, as the Porpoise Pub was the venue that hosted the "Jerry LeBloch Benefit Concert" on Jully 7th, 2013.

Formed in April of 2012, UCM2 is a rock/blues/funk/country/Jazz band consisting of Dennis Daily (lead vocals), Mike “Wildman” McCann (guitars), “Molten Mike” Deselle (slide & dobro guitar), Scott Chase (bass), Ron Harris (drums/percussion/backing vocals), Glenn Laubaugh (keyboards), Ric Santiago (saxophone), "Boston" Bob (harp/backing vocals) and Wendy Lord (backing vocals).

Autumn June is a local singer/songwriter who has been gaining much deserved momentum as of late. Sunday's show will be June's 3rd "AMPD/Screwie Louie's Original Scene" appearance.

Mostly recognized as the front-man for the Shotgun Junkies, Buddy King will be taking a break from the band to perform solo at Sunday's show. King has appeared at more "AMPD/Screwie Louie's Original Scene" shows then any other local act.

The event is sponsored in part by KAM Music Publishing, Bay Area Band Source, Full Access Magazine’s “Local Access with Keith Wilkins” music news column, Examiner.com’s “St. Petersburg Live Music Bar Scene” music column, the Tampa Bay Music Scene Historical Society, the Tampa Bay Music Hall of Fame, and the Florida Music Hall of Fame.

Sunday's "Screwie Louie's Original Scene" event will start at 3:00pm, admission to the event is free.
