4/365 A Year of Faces through Photography

4/365 A Year of Faces in Photography I am starting this photography project by photographing the places I am familiar with and with people in those places. One of my favorite places to go shopping is the Astoria Coop. As an owner-member of the Coop, I along with many others in the community, help support this food cooperative devoted to supporting healthy, sustainable, organic, and locally-grown and created foods and products.

One of the reasons I like going to the Astoria Coop is because of people like Kendall. Her warm, attentive, and informative way of supporting each customer makes it a pleasure to go shopping. A friendly, personable, and professional woman who, like all the crew of the Coop, do more than just "build community through food" (the Coop's motto); they build community through thoughtful, caring relationships with their customers.
