What: You’re invited to experience a free opening reception for the following art exhibits at the MD Hall for the Creative Arts in Annapolis. Check out the press exhibit description and titles:

  • Zeuxis: Still, Blue | Chaney Gallery

For Still, Blue, 25 artists have produced a new still life painting incorporating the color of electric blue. This traveling exhibit was put together by Zeuxis (pronounced Zoo-Sis), the Association of Still Life Painters, which was founded in New York City in 1994 to bring attention to the still life genre.

  • SidJacks: A Closer Look | Balcony Gallery

The photographic exhibit, "A Closer Look" is a journey through Photographer Sidney Jackson's eyes. The varied collection is designed to speak to the viewer, give a glimpse into his mind and demonstrate what he encounters and interprets as he looks through the camera into the world.

Who: Open to general public for free.

When: Thursday, April 3 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

FYI: There will be a FREE gallery talk before the opening reception at 5:15 by Matt Klos, Zeuxis artist and Assistant Professor and Department Chair, Humanities and Visual Arts at Anne Arundel Community College.
