If you can't picture a crowd of people lined-up for 45 minutes at the intersection of Citrus and College in Covina, you have not been around on a Saturday night since the new spot - 3Vinos - opened its doors.
3Vinos, a Latin cuisine restaurant which menu offers selections from Spain, Cuba and Argentina, in a short four months has become a serious contender as the nightlife center in Covina. With black and red plush lounge seating, a restaurant area, and a smoking patio, 3Vinos is attracting the 30-plus professionals of the area, lured not only by the modern set-up but by the variety of entertainment the venue offers.
Beginning this Wednesday, January 20, Super DJRobby will host a Salsa night. This will round-up the already established nights of "DJ Top 40 and rock en Espanol Thursdays", the "Flamenco Fridays", the "Live Salsa Band" on Saturdays [mind you, the four piece band is there only for an hour around 9 pm. After that the place turns into a madhouse of pop and rock classics], and the brunches on Sundays. A happy hour is also offered every week day from 4 pm to 7 pm and Sundays from 1 pm to 6 pm.
3Vinos is located at 201 North Citrus Ave, in Covina. More information at http://www.3vinos.com . There is no cover charge at the door. Dress code strictly enforced.

Nice Article. I think I'll visit them again =D
Aren't they great! The man with the guitar is Danny Steagall- he is amazing with the guitar! He occasionally plays at Sevillas in Rvsd. and it never fails he always brings the house down! His music although very much his own- is influenced by The Gypsy Kings, from Spain. Thanks for reporting on this!
Correcting myself from the previous message, the Gypsy Kings were born in France, but their parents were from Spain 'Spanish gitanos'.
