The 3rd annual Parma Peanut Butter Drive will run from December 1 to December 31 to benefit All Faiths Pantry, which serves low mobility residents in Parma, Parma Heights, Brooklyn, Old Brooklyn and Brooklyn Center.
Due to the increase in peanut butter prices, demand is high at local food banks for the family staple that is a good source of protein.
Organizers are looking to collect 1,500 jars in December.
Jars of peanut butter can be dropped off at any Parma library branch, Parma Community General Hospital, Parma City Hall City Council office or Parma Area Chamber of Commerce located inside Parmatown Mall.
Monetary donations may also be made online at http://allfaithspantry.org .
