On December 10th & 11th at the Reliant Center (Houston / Texas) The 3rd Annual Nzuri Natural Hair Health & Beauty Show, Houston’s 1st and Texas’ largest Natural Hair Health & Beauty Expo will assemble to showcase some of the best natural hair, health and beauty that Houston has to offer. This event is intended to educate, motivate and empower all natural, transitioning or just otherwise hair enthusiasts as well as health and beauty conscious consumers in and around the southern region.
“Nzuri” a Swahili word, that means beautiful, is that exact adjective that show organizers want guests to walk away feeling. The show features several orginal components such as the Little Miss “Happy” Headed pageant for natural hair girls ages 4-13. The show will be emceed by the Guiness World Record holder of the “Biggest Afro”, Aevin Dugas.
Debuting this year are stage plays, fashion shows, natural stylist and baber stage shows as well as 12 informative workshops that will teach newly naturals how to care for their hair.
A new and welcoming addition to this years show, is the epic, 1st time national meetup for Pi Nappa Kappa natural hair sorority.The newly famed sorority has gained media attention in the Huffington Post, Essence Online as well as Bet.com. This national meetup will draw crowds from all over the country.
Guests will also experience spectacular entertainment and stage shows to include music by Houston’s own natural songstress Alicia James & many more.

This Natural Extravaganza, a journey to the celebration of natural hair, health and beauty is open to the public and is a community event.
