The waves are getting better. The smell of barbecue is in the air. Horses and chuck wagons are blazing the trails to Memorial Park, and college students are getting over the flu only to experience spring fever. It is almost time for spring break!

If you are not willing to embrace the stampede of teenagers that will be at the rodeo this spring break, you may want to consider going to the 3rd Annual Music Unity Freedom Festival.

On March 15-17th, there will be live music, art, volleyball, food and beverages, vendors, and much more. Enjoy day concerts at The Beach Hut (8th and Seawall) from noon to 10pm. Night concerts will start at 9pm at Jimmy’s on the Pier. Music will be performed by Footpie, The Freckles, Hold Fast Fables, The Bee Room, and various other artists.
