3rd Annual GHRA Cookout on Sept. 2

The Greater Houston Restaurant Association (GHRA) will be having its 3rd annual cookout on Thursday, September 2 on Washington Ave. The GHRA Burgers and Beer cookout will be held at The Lot and Pearl Bar and will offer people all-you-can-eat-and-drink burgers and beer from 5pm to 8pm.

Tickets were originally priced at $30 in advance and $40 at the door, but were discounted to $25. You can purchase tickets by calling 713-802-1200 or email assistant@ghra.com. Proceeds from ticket purchases will benefit the GHRA Education Scholarship Fund.

Even though the event is open to the public, this is a perfect place for aspiring food industry individuals like chefs and restaurateurs to come out and network with others in the industry. Sponsors of the cookout include Houston Coca Cola Bottling Company, Sysco Houston, Inc., and US Foodservice.
