The Lake Michigan shoreline will teem with long-distance runners from across the United States for the 33rd Annual Milwaukee Lakefront Marathon on Sunday, October 6.
The run begins at 7:30 a.m. at Grafton High School, located at 1950 Washington Street, in Grafton, Wisconsin. Organized by the Badgerland Striders, the 26.2-mile race finishes at Veteran’s Park in Milwaukee.
Registration is no longer available for the 2013 Milwaukee Lakefront Marathon, as all entry spots were filled in April. Approximately 3,100 marathoners, representing at least 37 states and eight countries and ranging in age from 17 to 75, are expected for the race.
Packet pickup is set for Saturday, October 5, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., as part of the Milwaukee Lakefront Marathon Expo at the MSOE Kern Center, 1245 North Broadway Street, Milwaukee. All marathon participants must pick up their race packets at this venue. Photo IDs will be required, and waivers are needed for substitute pickups.
All registered participants receive race bibs with timing chips, official Milwaukee Lakefront Marathon race shirts, warm-up bags, and more.
Spectators are welcome along the entire route for the 33rd Annual Milwaukee Lakefront Marathon on October 6.
