According to Comic Book Movie today, the 33rd annual Razzie nominations were announced the other day, and just in time to show the opposite end of the spectrum from the Oscar nominations. There are some real doozies on here, and I’m willing to give you my choices (based on the movies I’ve seen):
Worst Picture
"Battleship"
“The Oogieloves in Big Balloon Adventure"
"That's My Boy"
"A Thousand Words"
"The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part II"
My pick: Based on the movies that I actually saw in this category I would have to give this one to “A Thousand Words.” While it tried to have a good message it failed in every way possible. I didn’t see the lame vampires or the children Oogieloves, but I at least laughed during “That’s My Boy” and was visually enthralled by the CGI fest that is “Battleship.”

Worst Director
Sean Anders - "That's My Boy"
Peter Berg - "Battleship"
Bill Condon - "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part II"
Tyler Perry - "Good Deeds" / "Madea's Witness Protection"
John Putch - "Atlas Shrugged: Part II"
My pick: This one goes to Tyler Perry for me. The only movies I will ever give him credit for are “Diary of a Mad Black Woman” and “Daddy’s Little Girls” (Idris Elba is always amazing).
Worst Actress
Katherine Heigl - "One for the Money"
Milla Jovovich - "Resident Evil: Retribution"
Tyler Perry - "Madea's Witness Protection"
Kristen Stewart - "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part II" / "Snow White and the Huntsman"
Barbra Streisand - "The Guilt Trip"
My pick: Kristen Stewart takes the cake on this one. She has been OK in a few movies (“Runaways” and “Panic Room” being two of them), but as a whole she was the downfall of “Snow White and the Huntsman” and I can only imagine she was just as bad in “Twilight”

Worst Actor
Nicolas Cage - "Ghost Rider 2: Spirit of Vengeance" /" Seeking Justice"
Eddie Murphy - "A Thousand Words"
Robert Pattinson - "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part II"
Tyler Perry - "Alex Cross / Good Deeds"
Adam Sandler - "That's My Boy"
My pick: This is a hard one, but I’m going to have to go with Tyler Perry. “Alex Cross” was just awful because of him. Everyone else at least tried and fit the role of their character. Whether the character was poorly written is not their problem.

Worst Supporting Actress
Jessica Biel - "Playing For Keeps / Total Recall"
Brooklyn Decker - "Battleship / What to Expect When You're Expecting"
Ashley Greene - "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part II"
Jennifer Lopez - "What to Expect When You're Expecting"
Rihanna - "Battleship"
My pick: Brooklyn Decker takes the cake on this one. She is the definition of eye candy, and outside of that contributes absolutely nothing to any film she is a part of.
Worst Supporting Actor
David Hasselhoff - "Pirannha 3-DD"
Taylor Lautner - "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part II"
Liam Neeson - "Battleship / Wrath of the Titans"
Nick Swardson - "That's My Boy"
Vanilla Ice - "That's My Boy"
My pick: I would like to go with Taylor Lautner on this one, but I haven’t seen that movie so it wouldn’t be fair. I’m going to go with Nick Swardson for this. He is usually a lot funnier in his roles, and just seemed to not be feeling this one. Vanilla Ice was hilarious (albeit not necessary at all), and Liam Neeson did what he does best…be a badass. Also you can’t Hassle the Hoff.

Worst Screen Ensemble
"Battleship"
"The Oogieloves in Big Balloon Adventure"
"That's My Boy"
"The Twilight Saga: Eclipsed Part II"
"Madea's Witness Protection"
My pick: While I pity anyone that was in “The Oogieloves in Big Balloon Adventure” I can’t rule on that one since, like most people, I haven’t seen it. “Madea’s Witness Protection” takes this one easily. I really wish they would stop giving Tyler Perry money.

Worst Screenplay
"Atlas Shrugged Part II"
"Battleship"
"That's My Boy"
"A Thousand Words"
"The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part II"
My pick: How do you turn a simple minded guessing board game into a big budget blockbuster? Quite possible in the worst fu***** way possible; “Battleship” easily wins this one. At least “Twilight” was a decent adaptation of a shi*** book, and “That’s My Boy” had some intentional laughs in it.
Worst Remake, Rip-Off, or Sequel
"Ghost Rider 2: Spirit of Vengeance"
"Pirannha 3-DD"
"Red Dawn"
"The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part II"
"Madea's Witness Protection"
My pick: This one is a toughie since the top three on this list were so disappointing and God-awful in its own special way. It has to go to “Piranha 3DD” since it was the most disappointing with the easiest job. All you have to do is show naked girls, decently animated Piranhas eating people, and have some hilarious scenes, but somehow they managed to turn a theme park massacre into me falling asleep at home.

Worst Screen Couple
Any two cast members from "Jersey Shore" in "The Three Stooges"
Mackenzie Foy and Taylor Lautner in "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part II"
Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart in "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part II"
Tyler Perry and his drag in "Madea's Witness Protection"
Adam Sandler and Andy Samberg, Leighton Meester, or Susan Sarandon in "That's My Boy"
My pick: “That’s My Boy” definitely wins this category as I haven’t seen such forced chemistry since I was in high school. (Get it? I had to take Chemistry? I’ll be here all week!)
