Comedy Central is planning its first-ever Comedy Awards on April 10, and the network's TV nominations tell us one thing above all else -- this group really loves "30 Rock." Despite being overlooked to an extent by the Emmys and the Golden Globes these days, Tina Fey's smart comedy still received more nominations here than any other show.

Ultimately, there are a few things you can see here right away from these nods. First of all, the awards show is doing the right thing in snubbing "Glee" from many categories -- not because of its quality, but because it is more of a musical than an actual comedy. Meanwhile, it's also nice to see shows like "Eastbound & Down" get some much-deserved recognition ... though "Community" also deserves more than just one nomination.
