$30,000,000 Penthouse planned for Philadelphia

Philadelphia will test whether the market can support a $30 million condo unit.

Two Libery Place is going to try after having success back in March, when a buyer spent $7.678 million for a unit on the 46th floor at Two Liberty Place. At that time this was the record set for a Philly condo. 

Rumors were flying that a businessman was about to spring $15 million for the penthouse and make it a duplex. The developers apparently liked the duplex idea and converted the 56th and 57th floor, but they also kept the penthouse idea and tagged it with a $30,000,000 price. That will buy you 16,000 square feet of condo space that you can make all your own.
