Take a few deep breaths in and out on the edge of your bed first

Free the condition of the confrontations by getting ready to workout by putting your workout clothes on and grabbing some juice. Instead of all the emotional highs and lows, tell yourself you are going for a playing field that is straight across the board today, even-minded and clear not born out of “reaction.”

You can’t stop the waves, but you can learn to surf

Staying balanced in your emotions, thoughts and sensations will steady your “being.” Cultivate kindness, compassion and joy for yourself, and eventually it will spill out over onto others.

Act without any thought to success or failure, just be open
