Day 15. For years now you may have indulged in junk food, smoking and alcohol. You may have resented commercials and people who led a healthy lifestyle. Until one of your party friends ended up in the hospital with a heart attack or worse. Needless to say the health crisis changed their way of life.
Ready to learn
“I paid attention to what life and my body were telling me, I had an epiphany.” It’s not uncommon to hear such a phrase when you run into someone who has fallen away from “the party.” You chuckle to yourself and move on with the thought of the conversation still rolling around in your head. For it‘s true when the student is ready the teacher(s) will appear.
Renovate your reality
On many levels you create what you believe. You hardly have room to sit around complaining about your state of health and resenting others if you plague yourself if ill-discipline. The way you handle your commitment to yourself all comes back to you. You go through peaks and valleys to motivation. Why? Why not keep your motivation up, stop taking life personally and using the downers as a reason to fail. People are so committed to comfort they don’t’ let themselves experience the one thing that will let them grow. Comfort is all advertising and if you came to this challenge out of shape you can see where believing that rubbish got you.
12 Steps to getting shit done by motivational speaker Craig Harper:
1-Don’t talk shit. All talk and no action. They are notorious un-doers.
2-Don’t wait for shit to work out. Idiots wait for things to workout, what if they never do. Make it happen.
3-Lose the shit attitude. Attitude is a choice. A bad attitude is all about resentment and resentment is based on anger.
4-Don’t eat shit. Eat healthy and you’ll feel healthy. Eat shit and feel like shit.
5-Give a shit about others. Being a self-centered dick helps no one. Care.
6-Don’t make shit harder than it needs to be.
7-Do shit earlier in the day. It makes you more creative, productive and mentally alert for the rest of the day.
8-Let go of your shit beliefs. Your self-limiting, disempowering beliefs have run your life for long enough. You are a good person, you are good enough, talented enough, and you deserve happiness.
9-Shit happens. It sucks but it’s life. Your success or failure is determined by how you relate to it. A positive attitude equal positive results.
10-Don’t obsess about shit you can’t do anything about. You are stalling, you’re stagnating, it’s a waste of time. Invest your time wisely in things you can control and move on.
11-Don’t avoid shit. Putting your head in the sand shows the world your arse. And none of us wants that. Lasting change comes with acknowledgment and awareness. Step up t the plate and do what’s necessary.
12-Don’t over-think shit. Analysis-paralysis. Pointless and unnecessary, move on.
