Very few American’s used antidepressants prior to the medical and pharmaceutical communities staking their claim that depression was caused by too little serotonin analogous to diabetes and an insulin imbalance. Once that claim was made the antidepressants like Prozac, Zoloft and Paxil, went flying off the shelves. The clear and simple truth is scientists and doctors have known for some time serotonin levels have nothing to do with depression.
Welcome back challengers. Serotonin moves messages from the brain throughout the nervous system, th-th-that’s all folks. Depression is caused by a perpetual state of sadness. What is the number one reason antidepressants don’t work, because a diversion from the cause of misery is the only thing that will. Drug companies preys on the hopelessness, helplessness, boredom and lack of motivation to “do something about it,” and is making millions now. It’s not that antidepressants and a good therapist won’t work, but it is a quick fix and you’re more likely to get a good jolt from pleasurable sex and exercise than you will by taking a pill. The data from the FDA shows taking an antidepressant is no more effective than taking a placebo.
C’mon everybody get your exercise, the pursuit of happiness
Sure losing your job or a loved one, and ending a relationship will pull the rug right out from underneath “the land of happy,” and sex and exercise won’t cure those ills but it will give you strength to face another day and “get happy” once more. If you have workout and then go out and have sex chances are the good-for-nothing won’t even be on your mind any more. Exercise boosts your self-esteem, raises your confidence and an experience of peace and happiness.
It makes you feel better. It makes you look better. It gives you a sense of accomplishment. It reduces stress. It makes you smarter by shooting your minerals and nutrients throughout your body and it raises your serotonin levels increasing your focus and concentration. Aren’t you glad you made it.
Drink water, eat breakfast, make lunch your biggest meal, eat fruit and nuts for snacks, and be happy for the rest of your life. Namaste (see video)
