Mental toughness is the fortitude of mind to bring to talent whatever skills you demand. Mental toughness is what it takes to step up to the line to make your mind accomplish what your body can already do. Mental toughness may mean fighting sleepiness and the urge to stay in bed or the urge to break out into a junk-eating machine. It also means you have what it takes to stay calm and the hutzpah to “bring it.”
You’re in the right frame of mind
Keep focused and push harder this final week of the 3-day challenge. The bottom line is nothing happens to the body that doesn’t occur in the brain first, but it’s something that will affect your health and well-being the rest of your life. There’s powerful jacked hardware in that noggin.’
Sweating, groaning and gritting your teeth
You may always be conflicted about working out. What you tell yourself about exercise makes all of the difference in the world. Hail the hard. Daydream endurance. Visualize it. See yourself doing it. See the changes you wish to accomplish. The couch and the television will still be there after you have finished your workout.
Do you best today, brainstorm courage
Speak highly of yourself. All you have to do is show up. When you’re working out at home 95% of that battle is already is already under your belt. Have fun, being confident will give you energy. Don’t let anyone take that away from you. You’ve made it to the fourth week and you should be feeling like an “insider” now, things should be getting easier. You’ve showed up and made activity and healthier choices for 22 days. Excellent.
Maybe you’re the one who’s just been showing up for three week, half-heartedly you’ve made better food choices. At least you’re aware of what health and well-being look like now, and you’ve been watching the video for 22 days. Make today the day you get up and participate with the video host. Put down that gob of hoagie in your hand. Don’t worry about stopping and restarting the video if you fall off track, just do your best, and tomorrow you’ll be psyched to do more.
Summer’s around the corner. There are 7 more days left to this challenge. They’ll be some time off and another one will begin. This week each day will be a two-part workout.
