Shamanism is an outlook and way of life as well as a healing practice. It is the belief that there is a profound connection among our selves, our loved ones, our community, the planet (and everything on it), and the universe and that there are ways to communicate with the spiritual world. By sharing this ancient knowledge and experience, you can learn and use shamanic tools to empower yourself and your community.

This three-part introductory course begins with the self: getting in touch and developing your inner world and all its possibilities, through practical exercises and direct experiences. After working on the self, you will explore and directly experience how Shamanism is utilized in ceremony, and how this collective ritual can impact self and your community.

Class I May 11, 7:30 to 10:00 pm

Centering Ourselves
You will learn to center yourself, by creating and navigating through multi-dimensional relationships — this means physical and energetic bodies. This is done through breath work, sound healing, and visualization to support a direct experience.

Class II May 18, 7:30 to 10:00 pm

Calling in Spirit Guides

This class is all about the art and practice of calling Spirit Guides. Building on the previous course on self-connection and centering, you will learn and experience how to create a unified field together and how it can be used.

Class III may 25, 7:30 to 10:00 pm

Building a Conscious Altar

An important part of Shamanism is creating a sacred space to synchronize energies, and this class is all about the how and most importantly, why, and then, how to use a conscious altar in your everyday life.

A contribution of $20 will cover a single class and no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Drop-ins are welcome.

Location: Serendipitea, 644 62nd St., Oakland, CA
