This article will help you chose what type of foundation is right for your skin type, and how they compare with each other. Finding that right type of foundation will allow you to get the right coverage you need to for a flawless beautiful face.

Mineral Powder foundation: This foundation will give you an exceptionally good all over cover. The powder is great for oily skin that tends to shine through out the day. Dry, flaky skin types will need to moisturize and prime the face otherwise the foundation may tend to highlight the dry skin. Combination skin won't have a problem with powder foundation, it will keep your oily skin shine free and your normal skin looking great. Touch ups with powder foundation won't cake throughout the day, so don't be afraid. If reapplying foundation cannot be achieved then a translucent powder will work just as well. A great inexpensive mineral powder foundation is the Kirkland Signature by Borghese Mineral Powder Foundation. You can find this in your local Costco.

Cream Foundation: Having the right skin type for this foundation is ideal. Since this type of foundation is slightly heavier it also tends to be more of a caky foundation if it is not right for your skin type. Dry skin types will adore this type of foundation. Since it is a cream it will act more with dry skin moisturizing it giving you a great look. A good quality this foundation does have is that it can act as a concealer. Using a heavier foundation as a concealer is great if you want to easily blend in a spot to look flawless with the rest of the foundation. Finding the correct cream foundation may take some time, Maybelline New York Instant Age Rewind is a nice cream foundation to start off with.

Liquid Foundation: Any skin type is great for this foundation. There are so many liquid foundations out there now it maybe difficult for you to choose which one you will like. The matte looks is slowly going away style wise, everyone is wanting the dewy natural look. This look is great, enhancing your natural beauty is what everyone should be doing. In the new foundations that offer the dewy look they will have extremely small shimmers in them. Having larger pores shouldn't scare you away from this. Using a translucent powder over this type of liquid foundation will balance out the small shimmers but still give you that gorgeous natural look. An amazing liquid foundation that will give you the dewy looks is Revlon Photo Ready Foundation.

Don't be afraid of the makeup, it can always work with you in some way. With so many different foundations finding the right one can be discouraging.
