Milton police are looking for three persons of interest in the murder of a teen who was shot in his family’s driveway earlier this month.
And police believe he was killed for his chain.
A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered to anyone who can help police find them.
The three people may have information about the murder of Mr. Christopher Walker who was shot during an attempted robbery on Silhouette Court in the Avensong Subdivision.
Detectives believe Mr. Christopher Walker was shot around 7:30 p.m. that Tuesday during a struggle with a robber outside his home.
“He had been shot in the head once,” Capt. Shawn McCarty previously said. The victim was transported to North Fulton Regional Hospital, where he died.
Investigators believe the suspect attempted to rob Mr. Walker, but the 19-year-old resisted. And during the struggle he was shot, Capt. McCarty said.
The shooting is believed to be a stranger-on-stranger crime, police said.
Mr. Walker was killed after a trip to the North Point Mall area, police told Channel 2 Action News.
Investigators believe Mr. Walker’s chain around his neck garnered someone’s attention at a Taco Bell on Haynes Bridge Road. They believe Mr. Walker may have been followed by a group intending to rob him, Channel 2 said.
