Mark your calendars! Food Network has three series premieres beginning in just a few weeks.
“Guy’s Grocery Games” – Sunday, Oct. 20
Guy Fieri hosts a new reality game show called “Guy’s Grocery Games”. Four chefs will begin the competition in the aisles of a grocery store collecting ingredients for the dish they will prepare at the end. The chefs will face challenges such as ingredients that are out of stock and tight budgets. A panel of three judges will critique the dishes and in the end award the winning chef a prize of $20,000.
“Restaurant Divided” – Thursday, Oct. 24
“Restaurant Divided”, with host Rocco DiSpirito, will work with family restaurants in tough spots. The almost-failing restaurants will have a chance to be resurrected after their differing concepts are put to the test by dividing their restaurants in half. Each side of the restaurant will be judged and compared using customer reviews, profitability, and concept. The better concept will be the one chosen to keep the restaurant open.
“Restaurant Express” – Sunday, Nov. 3
Hosted by Robert Irvine, “Restaurant Express” drives nine contestants in a bus across the West. The contestants will face challenges each week which will put three in the bottom at risk for elimination. The challenges will include limited budgets and tough judges. Culinary talent as well as business know-how will be tested until a winner remains. The prize is an executive chef position at a new restaurant in Las Vegas, The M Resort, Spa and Casino.
So, plan on hitting the couch or setting the DVR for these three new Food Network shows.
