Sugar- To much sugar in your diet can cause extra weight gain. We concentrate too much on low fat products, instead of checking out the sugar content. Sugar is found in various of process foods. It enhances the taste of certain foods. Most of the sugar we consumed is sucrose (table sugar).

Which is a combination of glucose and fructose. Fructose is found naturally in things such as fruits and plants. And glucose is produced in the body. The liver main function is to provide body with glucose it produces this on its own without help. Taking in too much sugar is bad. When body has too much of something it already it has. It will store it for later. Later energy is fat.

Alcoholic beverages- It seem that liquids can be easy cheat yourself from weight loss. Many of the unknown calories show up in alcohol consumption. Each gram of alcohol provides 7.1 kcal. Alcohol may not be too bad though. It shows up everywhere in nature in fruits and vegetables. we also produce our own alcohol in our bodies through the digestive process.

The reason that alcohol can cause weight gain drinking too much and too often. The extra calories that comes from carbohydrates in beers can shoot your calorie intake over your daily amount. Next time you consider having an extra drink be very wary of your waist line can be effected.

Carbohydrate intake- American diet now days seem to revolve around carbs things like breads, cereals, crackers and other process goods. The role of carbohydrate is to provide energy. The main source of fuel, it needed for various of tasks, like physical activity, brain function and operation of the organs. It should be majority of your diet. But explained before too much of anything is bad.

The simplistic view of the breakdown of carbohydrates is glucose. There are two types of carbohydrates simple and complex. Simple carbohydrates are also called simple sugar, which is found in fruit, vegetables, milks and sugar added in food during process.

Complex carbohydrates also called starches, include whole grain breads and cereals, starchy vegetables and legumes. Most grains complex carbs contains fiber, which helps with digestion and reduces overeating and weight gain. Between the two make sure you consume a diet of moderate amount of complex carbs. It can help you lose weight and stay lean.
