With college tuition on the rise, every little bit helps nowadays. From room and board to graduation invitations, any scholarship that can help our students to attend and graduate from college is worth looking in to. That is exactly what is on the minds of a local organization called , "College Bound Ballerz." This organization aims its focus on high school athletes and future leaders.
College Bound Ballerz is an organization led by the founder and President Dr. Elizabeth Branch, focusing on helping athletes to get into college and in some cases obtain full ride scholarships. She has spent over 40 career years working with disadvantaged populations of youth in grades K-College. She has authored several Federal Grants, published educational materials, and now trying to help them to .
On April 6th and 7th, College Bound Ballerz will host a 3-on-3 tournament for high school athletes at Tarrrant County College for scholarship money, a bio on the website of the winning team, a feature story in the magazine, and more. There will be college scouts at this tournament, among other important exposure opportunities.
