Three people were killed in a Denver shooting Wednesday (Feb. 6). The shooting took place in northeast Denver and has claimed the lives of two children under 10 years old as well as a woman. According to a report on the incident, a third child is also listed in critical condition at Denver Health Medical Center.
A local report stated, "Denver Police say they are not looking for a gunman at this time and still have not released if, or how, the woman is related to the children." It all unfolded just before 7 am in the morning, when emergency responders arrived on the scene.
Very little additional information about the tragedy has been released, so it is unclear who it was that carried out this crime. With the police stating that they are not searching for a suspect, it either means that the woman on the scene was the shooter or that the authorities already have a suspect in custody. Either way, this is a story that will likely get updated very soon by those on scene as well as the local Denver news authorities.
At last word, the police were looking to obtain a search warrant to thoroughly look through the house. It does appear that the three people who were killed in this shooting were from a family of five, but that was information obtained from a neighbor and not the police investigating the scene.
