It's National Hamburger Day! Versatile and budget-friendly, hamburger is popular with moms and kids alike, and lends itself beautifully to a wide variety of speedy and delicious recipes. In honor of National Hamburger Day, here's a super-fast, 3-ingredient recipe that will become a regular favorite at your house. Serve this easy, savory stew with garlic toast and a side salad, or try serving over rice.


 


 


Hamburger Stew


1 lb. ground beef

1 (14.5 oz.) can mixed vegetables, drained, or 1 (16 oz.) bag mixed vegetables

1 (16 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce

Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)


1. In a large skillet, brown ground beef and drain off fat.

2. Return beef to skillet and add drained vegetables and spaghetti sauce. Stir to combine and season to taste with salt and pepper.

3. Simmer on low heat until stew has started to bubble and vegetables are heated through.

4. Serve with grated Parmesan if desired.
