The Lafayette region will continue to see cloudy skies well into the weekend. The rain should tapper off for the next few days however, Saturday there is a 50 percent chance of rain in the forecast.

HIGH 55° / LOW 42°
There is a 50 percent chance for showers on Saturday, which will drop to 30 percent for Saturday evening. The high will be 55 degrees with a low of 42 degrees. Winds will be out of the North and Northeast at 6 mph. The evening winds will be out of the North at 2 mph.
