When three people were found murdered a day apart in Macon, investigators thought they were dealing with two separate murder scenes. Now they said all three were murdered by the same people in the same location in a "robbery gone bad."

So far, three suspects have been arrested and deputies are searching for one more, the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office said Monday.

The investigation began shortly before 3:40 a.m. on May 29 when deputies responded to 688 Granada Terrace after getting a report of a person shot, the sheriff’s spokesman Lt. Sean DeFoe said. Someone had shot Terrance “Heavy D” Vanderrick Dent, Jr., 25, several times that Thursday, DeFoe said. Dent was transported to the Medical Center of Central Georgia where he was later pronounced dead, officials said.

Investigators later received information that two people possibly witnessed or had information in connection to Dent’s murder, DeFoe said. Based on the information they received, deputies began searching for 34-year-old Tyrone “Ty” Lewis and his brother, 36-year-old Vincent “White Boy” Lewis, DeFoe said.

Investigators also learned that Dent had been shot at a home in the 3000 block of Fairburn Avenue and was later dropped off at a residence on Granada Terrace, instead of being taken to a local hospital, DeFoe said. They did not say who dropped off the victim at the home or why.

On May 30, deputies received a report of two people found dead inside a vehicle behind a home at 3365 Fairburn Ave., deputies said. Someone had reported shots fired the night before, but when deputies searched the area they did not find the victims, Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones said.

A family member found 23-year-old Arika Jarrell and 32-year-old Ralph Heard inside the vehicle behind the home the next day, Jones said.

“At first, it was believed that the Bibb sheriff’s office was investigating two separate homicide investigations,” DeFoe said. “During the course of these investigations it was found that the deaths of Arika Jarrell, Ralph Heard, and Terrance Dent were possibly linked.”

“Investigators developed strong evidence to support the fact that the three individuals were fatally wounded during a “robbery gone wrong” incident,” DeFoe said.

With the help of the United States Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, deputies arrested Rayshawn “Ping” Reanaldo Lucas, 32, and Quintavious “Quinn” Isaih Everett, 22, on Friday and Vincent “White Boy” Lewis, 36, on Monday for three counts of murder and aggravated assault, DeFoe said. Deputies are still looking for Lewis “Bear” Monroe Cheney II.

Anyone with information in reference to this incident or the whereabouts of Lewis “Bear” Monroe Cheney is asked to contact the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office at (478) 751-7500 and ask to speak with the “on-call” investigator or call Macon Regional Crime Stoppers at (877) 682-7463.
