The second of three dogs stolen from Anderson County PAWS has been located, Fox Carolina reported March 31.

The black lab mix shown here was adopted out to a Navy sailor in Beaufort for $45. Anderson County PAWS ran an application on the sailor, and found he met the requirements to keep the puppy.

Of the three dogs stolen from the Anderson shelter on March 12 by four upstate siblings, only one, the American Blue Tick/Heeler mix, remains missing.

The remaining missing puppy was given to a young woman the suspects met at the Pilot Travel Center in Piedmont. Authorities say she was driving an orange Mitsubishi Eclipse. This is the puppy who was already promised by Anderson County PAWS to a qualified adopter.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the remaining puppy is asked to contact investigator Gene Culbertson at 864-231-2807.
