2nd Cuba Forever celebrated with La Charanga Cubana

Apr 23, 2011 – The 2nd Cuba Forever event was held Friday night at Stevens Steakhouse, in the City of Commerce.

Produced by Adela Morales, of Cayman Productions, the evening celebrated the music and dance of Cuba, with performances by Grammy nominated and Los Angeles based band La Charanga Cubana, the percussion of the Lazaro Galarraga trio, and dance groups directed by Kati Hernandez.

The event opened with the beautiful music of violinists Pablo I. Mendez and Leticia Sierra and flutist Ruben Rivas.  DJ Javier Suazo entertained the crowd between band sets.
