2nd Annual Mardi Gras Celebration to fight blindness at the Sheraton (Photos)

"Imagine enjoying the year's best party and simultaneously fighting blindness in your city," states Sam Polakoff, chairman of the board of The Polakoff Foundation.

What: The Polakoff Foundation, a Harford County based non-profit organization dedicated to the fight against glaucoma is once again teaming up with Blind Industries & Services of Maryland to fight blindness in Baltimore. The 2nd Annual Mardi Gras Celebration includes special guests include former Governor & Mrs. Robert L. Ehrlich, Jr. whereas, Master of Ceremonies will be local TV newsman Stan Stovall.

Did you know? This event was launched in 2012 and proved to be a huge success. "The creative costumes, decorations and the Mardi Gras music kept the party going strong all evening," according to Denise Polakoff, the executive director of The Polakoff Foundation and the co-chair of this year's event.
