Lexington's own Amazing Wonders Gaming & Hobby Center is holding its 2nd Annual Spring Carnival this Saturday. From 2pm to 11pm local gamers can look forward to a day of fun, games, live entertainment, and sundry fandom-freandly activities. According to the recent invitation sent out over facebook, events will icinclude:
- Cosplay Contest - Prizes will be awarded in the categories of "Most Realistic", "Crowd Favorite", and "Judges Pick".
- Tabletop game demos.
- Live performances by Shadowclone.
- The Tinderbox Circus Sideshow.
- Performance by chiptune musicient Solarbear.
- Master Juggler Michael Sikora.
- Future Kidz.
The summer carnival will also feature booths from local merchants and crafters, including:
- Jewelry crafter Bardic Kitty.
- Perier bead artist Mayling Yap.
- Jewelry, wire, bead and scarf designer Linda Ratliff.
Get your dice, get your friends, and head down to Amazing Wonders this Saturday for an afternoon of gaming, entertainment, and creativity!
