2nd Amendment Preservation Act
It was reported by Dave Heimbold, Saint Augustine Tea Party (SATP), Media Chairman that Janet Smith will be addressing the SATP, on Tuesday, Oct.8th, at 6:30PM at the Village Inn, 900N Ponce de Leon Blvd, St. Augustine, Florida. Janet is a well known reenactor who has visited the SATP on several occasions in the past.
The object of this presentation is to recruit 2nd Amendment advocates to be involved
with passing a Bill, in the next Florida legislative session, to tighten restrictions on Federal incursions into the individual's rights to bear fire arms. This should be very enlightening to those interested in preserving our 2nd Amendment rights.
A draft of the new law entitled "2nd Amendment Preservation Act" is already
being circulated in 14 Counties in Florida. The goal is to add St. Johns County.
“We expect people interested in pushing back against the attacks on the 2nd Amendment, to come and join us at the Tea Party's Open Meeting on Tuesday, the 8th of October,” Dave Heimbold, SATP Media Chairman stated.
