2nd Amendment Feints and Other Distractions

Social theorists should be taking a lot of notes about now. What is happening in US politics is classic distraction and disinformation techniques. Houdini and Blackstone would have been so proud. Get everyone to look in another direction and hide the elephant in the box car. What was Vaudeville's finest bit of stage work is now flagrant in US politics to those looking. Why are 'We the People' arguing about secondary issues instead of failed fiduciary responsibilities, even in basic accounting, and dictatorial exercise of Executive Office?

True fact: The Obama Administration of the US government has overspent income by nearly half of actual income every year for the last four years AND, there is no indication there will be any stopping of this kind of spending. If income is 2.4T$, and it is. And spending is 3.5T$, and it has been every year. Then, spending exceeds income - every year - by nearly 50%.

If this kind of mismanagement was in a publicly traded company, the C-level company officers would be brought up on Fed charges and sent to prison. Instead, it is the Fed... well, those running the Fed ... that is spending with no one watching the check book. Who is minding the store when those minding the store are stealing?

Back to feints and other distractions: At first it looks like there is an 'official' flagrant attack on religious freedom and freedom of speech; the 1st Amendment stuff. When that became a hyper fuss, attention was then cast to the 2nd Amendment to stir that pot. Now there are arguments and articles all over the place decrying the villainy of semi-automatic firearms or exalting the praises of firearm rights, hobbies, and lifestyles. It is all very exciting, blood stirring, and emotion filled on all sides of the issue. Selling a lot of radio and TV commercial time at a premium for the highest rated talk shows and faux-news opinion shows.

Meanwhile, Congress and the political show has become 'back burner' while the plate spinners keep the excited eyes on the action. The US Senate under the misguided leadership of Harry Reid has not put a budget out in the last four years. While it is the House's responsibility to submit a budget to the Senate for review, it is accepted practice that the Senate and the Executive would both submit their own budgetary plans for consideration. This the Senate has not done. Moreover, the Senate under Harry Reid has not even passed a budget sent to them. Only in government can you get paid for not doing the job you were paid to do.

Meanwhile, the Obama Administration continues to placate those that would see the USA destroyed; or at least knocked down a few pegs. I have to wonder what was the price of the bribe? Do these people who cowtow not realize they are usually someone the first and definitely the second tiers to go? Read history, people. Those that cannot be trusted are exiled, imprisoned, or decapitated.

Deals are being struck to keep everyone in office in office. The hate-mongering of the election cycle is over. It is now time to posture for position and enough spine to get elected once more. Hillary Clinton 'steps down' from being Secretary of State and remains 'close personal friends' with the Obamas. Right. Ms. Clinton stepped down to begin fund raising and crowd working for 2016.

There is a lot of distraction going on. Attempts to get 'We the People' so focused on one thing they completely do not see what else is happening. And that is happening all too easily.

Why would the Obama Administration send high fighter planes and high end combat tanks to a country that habitually swears death to America and death to Israel? Someone in the White House should read history to find out how well that worked for Chamberlain in the 1930s? Also, the White House must not understand they enemy they face?

The American People need to understand their current government does not understand US government, how it functions, how it supposed to function, and what the cost of doing business within income is. In less than two years, Senate seats and all of the House seats come open again. Put in members of 'We the People' who do understand that as much as you want to give aid to everyone who wants it, there is not that much money in the till. Someone is going to have to do without or work. Maybe that is also part of the problem.
