28 NASCAR fans injured in huge crash today at the track (Photos)

The news just keeps coming in about the NASCAR crash today at the track. On Feb. 23, First Coast News reported originally that 28 fans were injured and then later changed it to as many as 30 could be hurt. Are you shocked this happened from the crash today?

Debris, including a tire, flew into the stand and injured the fans that were watching the race. This was Kyle Larson's first Nationwide Series race. He is doing just fine. 14 fans were treated at the track and did not need to go to the hospital. 14 other fans were taken to local hospitals to be treated and have their injuries checked out. There were six people that were injured so bad they are calling them trauma patients. At this time, there have been no deaths reported from injuries at the NASCAR race. This story is still developing and more information is coming out as it is available.

Tony Stewart won the race, but had enough respect to skip the post race victory celebration. This impressed a lot of fans of the sport.
