24 is finally coming to the big screen! The suspenseful television series was known for covering the events of a twenty-four hour period over the course of a season where every episode was an hour long. There was long been talk of a 24 movie, but recent news suggests that the movie will begin filming in early 2012.
The lead role of CTU agent Jack Bauer will still be played to Kiefer Sutherland, the star of every episode of the television series. 20th Century Fox and Imagine Entertainment are expected to release the film in 2013 and Mark Bomback is expected to write the next version of the script.
