According to ABC News on March 26, New Yorkers can get a cupcake from an ATM 24 hours a day.

New York joins cities like Dallas, Chicago, Atlanta, Las Vegas and Beverly Hills in being able to get a cupcake 24 hours a day.

The cupcake ATM is pretty much like your neighborhood bank ATM, but the exterior of the cupcake bank is pink. Instead of money, this ATM is filled with cupcakes.

First, you touch the screen. Second, choose from nine flavors including black and white, chocolate coconut, Cuban coffee, dark chocolate, lemon meringue, red velvet, strawberry, vanilla or vanilla milk chocolate. Then swipe your card for a total price of $4.25 per cupcake. Wait about 10 seconds. A small door to the right of the screen rises and there is your freshly baked cupcake in an adorable little, single-serve box for you to enjoy no matter what time it is day or night.

The ATM is restocked several times per day ensuring your cupcake is always fresh.

The cupcake ATM opened in New York last Tuesday, and people are lining up to get their cupcakes.
