Canada has selected 23 players for the country’s U-17 to U-19 Women’s National Excel camp to take place from March 16-25 in Portland, Ore.
“This is an important camp as it represents the beginning of a new cycle for the U-20 group of players,” said Andrew Olivieri, head coach of Canada’s Women’s U-20 Team. “Our on-field work towards the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Canada 2014 starts right here.”
The camp featuring players born from 1994 to 1996 includes a friendly match against the University of Portland on March 22.
