Milford's annual Pumpkin Festival returns this weekend to the Oval to celebrate it's 20th year.

Although a year shy of the legal drinking age, the festival will include beer tasting from two local breweries, Pennichuck Brewing and Martha's Exchange.

A variety of family-friendly entertainment and live music will be offered all three days.

Kicking off at 5 p.m. on Friday, attendees can venture to Emerson Park for a haunted trail hike, kick back at the Oval Stage for the Folk Soul Band, or head over to the Amato Center for a screening of the 1953 classic, War of the Worlds.

Saturday is packed with a full day of craft and food vendors, live music, a live radio broadcast at the Red Arrow Diner, a pumpkin catapult, face and pumpkin painting, a chili roundup and of course, the Great Pumpkin weigh-in.

Sunday rounds out the weekend with yoga, ballroom dancing demonstrations, a road race and more.

A full schedule of events is available on the Pumpkin Festival website.
