2015 Mustng

Six generations and 50 years later some would say this point is revamped and ready. By which I am talking about the 2015 Mustang. They did a number on this car as compared to the 2014 or earlier. Designing this 50 year anniversary addition was inspired by the 1965, 1967, and 1969 models. Comes with the same wheelbase of 107.1 inches, the lowered the deck lid (top of trunk) almost 3 inches, the hood was lowered by 1.3 inches, the car’s track was widened by 1.6 inches (widening the track by 40 mm helps improve the ride and handling), and even the roof was lowered 1.5 inches. The rear shoulder (basically what looks like shoulders looking at the back) is designed by the 69 fastback. These shoulders help provide a base for the best back end of any Mustang in history.
With blackout B-pillars and angled tail lights help make this Mustang stand far out from the others. As for the front end a deep grille following the Fusion’s look. Headlights have three diagonal light stripes that provide an interrogating look to on passers. Overall the designers said “if it looks like a Mustang, take it off.”
As for the inside they had 2 ideas for it mixing an aviation look with more gauges, toggle switches, still having a look of luxury. If it looks like metal, it is. They said this interior is called, “a luxurious cabin that looks ready to fly”. The view out of the windshield is perfect, less of a blind spot by moving the A-pillars. And of course if you’re still not a manual transmission fan, it comes with paddle shifters on the steering wheel.
As for power it comes available with the 5.0 liter V-8 with a top speed of 155 mph, and the all new EcoBoost 2.3 liter turbo charged. Don’t worry for the base model still comes available with the V-6 3.7 liter engine which has upped the horsepower to 305 hp and 280 lb-ft of torque.
For those concerned about the price tag, at least the base price is affordable at $24,000 and will be ready in the fall of 2014. All I can say is enjoy!
