2015 Ford Mustang brings new style to the old classic

Whereas the 2014 Corvette Stingray which just won the Detroit auto show's car of the year award looks like another version of the Corvette, the new 2015 Mustang has had quite a visual change from all past Mustangs..

The newly revealed 2015 Ford Mustang has undergone a complete makeover. The front only vaguely resembles the new Mustangs on the road, it looks more like a Mazda 6 or any number of new cars because of the down-sloped hood. The back still has the same taillight configuration, just a little different.

It comes with a 3.7 L V6 or a 5 L V8 just like the 2014 V6 and GT, the 2015 will have Ecoboost.

The convertible top has a faster speed, there is blind spot detection. The infotainment unit is both a digital screen and buttons and dials for those who can't get along with a touchscreen while trying to look at the road and really drive.

At the Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale last month, the first 2015 Mustang GT was sold for $300,000. Production models available later this year will be considerably cheaper. Photos out are the pre-production model so yes things can change, but judging from the current specs, it will be the 2014 Mustang with a new exterior.

In other news it will be in the new Need for Speed movie March 14th and the Need for Speed Rivals video game already released.
