2015 Ford F-150 was unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show. The lightweight pickup truck will be made of aluminum. According to CNET on Jan. 13, the new vehicle will have plenty of high technology features to take on rivals Chevy and Dodge.
Rather than just cameras for backing up, the new truck has four, providing a full bird's-eye, 360-degree view. Drivers can now see exactly what's around them on all sides, which should make navigating around cramped job sites (or Walmart parking lots) a fair bit easier.
2015 Ford F-150 is also 700 pounds lighter thanks to a mostly aluminum body. The stronger, lighter body did exceptionally well in a recent Baja 1,000 race. It handily beat heavily modified entries from competing manufacturers and then drove home to Detroit afterwards.
The 2015 Ford F-150 is loaded with high-end features like LED lighting and extensive charging power for all your devices right from the dashboard. Other top-of-the-line creature comforts include a panoramic sunroof and seat massagers.
In 2013, the F-150 owned 40 percent of the U.S. truck market, the 2015 Ford F-150 could do even better. In fact, it was the best selling vehicle of any king for 32 years in the U.S.
