Kinderlift children’s safety vests and ski bags are now available with the officially licensed 2015 Alpine World Ski Championships logo emblazoned on them. Skiers and snowboarders from small to tall can now own a piece of history with officially licensed gear from Kinderlift commemorating next year’s World Ski Championships.
“We have seen the Kinderlift vests used at the ski schools in Vail and Beaver Creek,” explains Ceil Folz, president of the Vail Valley Foundation. “In fact, a few of our Vail Valley Foundation staff have had their children in ski lessons at these schools and we understand the value the vests provide in keeping the little ones safe when they’re learning to ski or ride. We are pleased to work with Kinderlift on a Vail 2015 branded vest and their unique ski bag.”
Kinderlift vests, used by top resorts worldwide for their ski schools, including Vail, are durable and extremely simple to put on and use, with a zipper in the front and a strap in the back that a parent or instructor can easily grab to help kids ages 3-7 onto a chair lift or up off the snow. The limited-edition 2015 Alpine World Ski Championships vests are available in black, yellow and lime-green.
KinderKarry ski bags make it easier for kids and their parents to tote all their ski stuff around. The ski bags are designed to hold everything, including skis or a snowboard with a strap system on the outside of the bag. The limited-edition version of KinderKarry with the 2015 Alpine World Ski Championships logo is available in lime-green and blue.
“We came up with the idea for KinderKarry while skiing at Beaver Creek Resort,” says Randy Burklund, owner and head mogul of Kinderlift Colorado. “At the beginning and end of the day families were walking by and dad was carrying his own skis and a couple of short skis and maybe poles for his young kids, who were following behind, dropping gloves and stocking caps every so often. Mom was following up, carrying her own ski equipment while picking up the items the kids dropped. Not a good way to start the day.”
Both the vests and ski bags are now available and on sale at the Kinderlift website, Kinderlift.com, and these retail shops in the Vail/Beaver areas: Vail T-Shirt Company, Vail Style, Generation Vail, Beaver Creek Gear, and other Zone2015 Official Stores on the Front Range.
