2014 WWE Elimination Chamber preview and predictions

See also

WWE presents the 2014 Elimination Chamber on pay per view this Sunday, live from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Here is the scheduled card, along with my predictions.

Cody Rhodes and Goldust vs. Curtis Axel and Ryback

This bout takes place on the Kick-off show. I like the Rhodes’ brothers here.

Darren Young vs. Titus O’Neil

O’Neil seems to be in line for a push here so look for him to go over.

Tag Team Championship: Billy Gunn and Road Dogg © vs. Jimmy and Jey Uso

This one could go either way but I like the Outlaws to retain and head into Wrestle Mania as champions.

Intercontinental Championship: Big E Langston © vs. Jack Swagger

Langston retains here in what could be a very good match.

Batista vs. Alberto Del Rio

I expect this match to go back and forth but no way Batista loses between now and his World Title match at Wrestle Mania.

United States Champion Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns vs. Bray Wyatt, Erick Rowan and Luke Harper

This one could steal the show. I think the Wyatt’s go over here as The Shield continues to ‘crack’.

Elimination Chamber match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Randy Orton © vs. John Cena vs. Sheamus vs. Christian vs. Antonio Cesaro vs. Daniel Bryan

I don’t see Cesaro, Christian or Sheamus walking out of this match as champion. Out of the three remaining names, I look for Orton to retain after Bryan is screwed once again, leading to a Bryan vs. Orton vs. Batista title match at Wrestle Mania.
