2014 Women’s Final Four descends upon Nashville

The 33rd Women’s Final Four is set to begin on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at the Bridgestone Arena in Downtown Nashville. This is the 1st time that the Women’s Final Four has been held in Nashville. The Final Four consists on the final four teams that navigated their way through the field of 64 bracket.
The teams participating in the Final Four will be Notre Dame, Maryland, Connecticut, and Stanford. Notre Dame will play Maryland and Connecticut will play Stanford. Winners of the national semifinal games will play for the 2014 Women’s Basketball Championship on Tuesday, April 8, 2014. Notre Dame and Connecticut come into the Final Four undefeated; they will have a chance to play each other in the championship game, if they defeat their semifinal opponents.

Tickets to each session are $75. They can be purchased at the Bridgestone Arena box office or via Ticketmaster. For those who can’t make to the Bridgestone Arena, they can still enjoy the excitement of the Women’s Final Four by watching the games on ESPN. It’s some exciting championship basketball coming to Nashville, take some time to enjoy it, one way or another. Also, make a venture down to the Music City Center, and head up to Exhibit Halls A & B and partake in Tourney Town and enjoy some interactive activities, courtesy of the Final Four, that will be a joy to all members of the family, there is truly something for everybody, admission to Tourney Town is free.
