The 2014 Winter Olympics live stream and televised coverage will continue on Monday, Feb. 10 with Team USA currently in third place with four medals. Upcoming events will include live hockey with the women's team from the United States in Group A action, as well as speed skating and freestyle skiing, among other events. The latest TV and live stream Winter Olympics coverage will be presented through various NBC channels or sources.
According to an AP FOX News report from Feb. 9, Team USA was able to sweep Sochi's slopestyle snowboarding competition, as Jamie Anderson won gold on Sunday. Anderson reportedly had a "near flawless run" in her performance to capture the top prize, while Enni Rukajarvi from Finland took silver and Britain's Jenny Jones took bronze. Anderson posted an unbeatable score of 95.25 on her second run, while Rukajarvi had 92.50 and Jones 87.25. Just a day before, Team USA's Sage Kotsenburg captured the men's gold medal in the same event.
Anderson's gold medal win adds to the four total that Team USA now has in the standings. In addition to the two golds in snowboarding, the United States has two bronze medals: one in figure skating and one in freestyle skiing. They are right behind the Netherlands who also had four medals, although two are gold, one is silver and one is bronze. Canada and the Russian Federation each have four as well, while Norway is leading the overall medal count standings at Sochi with 7 medals.
