In a reversal of decision, NBC has decided to live stream the Sochi Olympics Closing Ceremony for US viewers. The decision to allow the live feed has fans elated. On Saturday, The Christian Post reported on NBC’s decision to live stream.

The Live Stream will begin at 11 a.m. EST. Do not forget to adjust your time zone if you live on the west coast. Viewers can still catch the extravaganza on the tape delayed broadcast at 8 p.m EST on NBC on Sunday night. The tools used for viewing the Olympics live have caught on well and fan viewership is high. and the NBC Sports Live Extra app offer alternatives for viewers who cannot wait for primetime.

The decision has many fans speculating on the fate of the next Olympics, will live broadcast even be available in four years? The internet, tablets and smart phones have changed the course of technology and the way viewers watch their favorite shows. Who knows what might happen in the next four years. For now, we are content that the Sochi Olympics 2014 will have much culture involved in the closing ceremonies.
