2014 Winter Olympic ski jumping Schedule

At the 2014 Sochi Olympic Games, the ski jumping events are scheduled to begin on February 8 and conclude on February 17.

For the first time, ski jumping will include a women’s event. The three women who will represent the United States in the first-ever women’s ski jumping event include Jessica Jerome, Lindsay Van and Sarah Hendrickson.

In addition, three men’s events are contested. The men’s team includes Nick Alexander, Nick Fairall, Peter Frenette and Anders Johnson. Only Fairall is a first-time Olympian, while Johnson is the only three-time Olympian on the squad. Johnson, now 24 years old, qualified for his first Olympic team in 2006 at the age of 16.

The 2014 Olympic Games will mark the second for both Alexander and Frenette.

The events are scheduled to take place at the RusSki Gorki Jumping Center. You can find a full 2014 Olympic ski jumping event schedule below. All times listed are local Sochi times.

February 8
Men’s normal hill individual, qualification round, 8:30 p.m.

February 9
Men’s normal hill individual, first round, 9:30 p.m.
Men’s normal hill individual, final round, 10:45 p.m.

February 11
Women’s normal hill individual, first round, 9:30 p.m.
Women’s normal hill individual, final round, 10:25 p.m.

February 14
Men’s large hill individual, qualification round, 9:30 p.m.

February 15
Men’s large hill individual, first round, 9:30 p.m.
Men’s large hill individual, final round, 10:45 p.m.

February 17
Men’s team, first round, 9:15 p.m.
Men’s team, final round, 10:22 p.m.
