Pacific Raceways, located in Kent, Washington (near Seattle), is one of the NHRA’s most beautiful facilities, with Mount Rainier and majestic trees as its backdrop. Opened in 1960, the facility also includes a 2.25-mile, nine-turn road course and hosts karting, motorcycle and sports car races.
The track hosted its first NHRA event in 1960. The Fiorito family, which still owns the facility, leased the drag strip to Seattle International Raceway in 1976; the contract expired on January 1st, 2002, and the Fiorito family is once again in control of the track.
