Heartland Park Topeka is the home of the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series' Kansas Nationals, but the complex is also home to a 2.5-mile road course and a 3/8-mile dirt oval. Over the years, the complex has hosted the NHRA as well as SCCA, the ARCA Racing Series, the ASA, IMSA, AMA, the World of Outlaws, and NASCAR's Camping World Truck Series.
Opened in 1989, Heartland Park Topeka also hosts a wide variety of motorsports-inspired events, including demo derbies, junior dragster events, monster truck shows, car shows, and a Saturday afternoon drifting series.
Tickets for the 2014 NHRA Kansas Nationals, taking place Friday through Sunday, May 23rd through 25th, are on sale now. General admission tickets are $35 for Friday and $43 for Saturday or Sunday; a three-day general admission pass is $107. Reserved seats start at $42 for Friday and $53 for Saturday or Sunday, with three-day reserved passes available for $130. Children 12 and under can get reserved tickets for $20 any of the three days, or free admission with an adult general admission ticket.
