The Shell and Pennzoil Grand Prix of Houston returns to Reliant Park in 2014 as part of the IndyCar Series schedule on a new weekend, Friday through Sunday, June 27th through 29th. The race will once again be a double-header, with two full IndyCar Series races.
The Reliant Park 1.7-mile course will feature 10 turns, with slight differences from the track used when the race originated in 2006 and 2007. The Grand Prix of Houston is one of three double-header races on the 2014 IndyCar Series schedule, with races on both Saturday and Sunday. Other series racing at Reliant Park include the Pirelli World Challenge Championship, the Cooper Tires USF2000 Powered by Mazda, Firestone Indy Lights and the Pro Mazda Championship Presented by Cooper Tires.
